2023/2024 Academy season is for boys born 2011 to 2005.

Placements for the new season will be in May 2023.  We will post updated information with placement dates and registration in April.

ECNL Boys Top Team

Who: 2011 to 2005 players seeking the highest level of competition in the region, the opportunity for individual development to achieve post-high school soccer playing goals, and the best national college recruiting pathway.  Our top boys teams play in ECNL Boys.

Annual Club Fee:  Player registration fees for the 2023/24 season are $1995.  Pricing does not include processing fee (processing fee is collected by a third party and does not go to Washington Timbers FC).

Additional Costs: Uniforms, team fees, travel and tournament costs per team.

Training Frequency: 3-4x per week in season

League Placement: ECNL Boys NW Conference

Preliminary Tournament Schedule:

  • All Ages – Adidas Clash at the Border
  • 2011 and 2010 – Fall ECNL Boys Showcase (West Coast)
  • 2008 and 2007 – Two ECNL Showcases; Timbers Alliance Showcase
  • 2009 and 2005 – One ECNL Showcase

End of Season Events: ECNL playoffs if the team qualifies

Other Sports: Soccer is the primary sport;  coaches and families should communicate to develop a plan that allows multi-sport athletes to participate while considering the needs of the team.

ECNL Boys Regional League (ECRL)

Who: 2008 to 2006 players seeking the high level of competition, the opportunity for individual development to achieve post-high school soccer playing goals, and access to a national college recruiting pathway.  Our boys second teams play in the ECRL in addition to Washington Youth Soccer Regional Club League (RCL) competition.

Annual Club Fee:  Player registration fees for the 2022/2023 season are $1995.  Pricing does not include processing fee (processing fee is collected by a third party and does not go to Washington Timbers FC).

Training Frequency: 3x per week in season

  • Eight games played over three weekends – August 5-7 (Seattle), August 12-14 (Seattle), October 14-16 (Harmony Sports Complex)
  • ECRL Boys Showcase (TBA)

U15/8th Grade Players

Who: 2008 boys who will be in 8th grade for the 2022-2023 season.  U15 age boys who will be freshman in high school but choose not to play high school soccer may also participate.

Annual Club Fee: U15/8th grade programming is included in the respective annual club fees listed above.

Boys High School Soccer Season: March-May

How it works:

  • U15/8th grade players will try out with the other U15 players for placement on ability based rosters for the 2022-23 season.
  • U15/8th grade players will train and compete on their respective teams throughout the year except during high school season.
  • During high school season, we will pool the U15/8th grade players who seek to continue training and games together, regardless of ability. The U15/8th grade teams will train 1-2x per week and play in an OYSA Division 1-2 league.
